Both men and women suffer from unsightly toe nails, either damaged or fungal. At mind.body.sole, we have a quick fix to remedy your embarrassing problem. It is painless specialised procedure carried out by a registered Podiatrist and has a natural finish. The new nail can be painted if required. RECONSTRUCTION BENEFITS Toenail reconstruction offers benefit to clients who suffer with lack of confidence regarding their feet and toes. Reconstructed nails look and feel more natural and will feel comfortable, as the gel resin used on the nail bed is flexible and NOT harmful to the nail bed. The reconstructed nail can be painted, just like a real nail, enabling the client to feel much more confident, when wearing open toe shoes or going barefoot THE FOUR STAGE PROCEEDURE OF RECONSTRUCTION NAILS. 1-The area is disinfected with LCN Clearer and any diseased, misshapen, loose damaged nail material is removed with a drill burr by the Podiatrist. The surface of the remaining nail is roughened to enable the resin to adhere. Connex Plus is then applied. 2- A thick layer of resin is applied to the nail bed, using a flat brush to recreate the nail and allowed to cure under a lamp for 2 minutes. 3- A second layer is applied with a fine correcting brush and allowed to cure. 4- The nail is then cleaned, smoothed and shaped with a drill burr. Cured for 2 minutes and finally sealed with pediseal curing for a further 2 minutes to complete. NAILS WHICH ARE SUITABLE FOR THE PROCEEDURE :- Mycotic (fungal), broken, psoriasis, damaged, misshapen and discoloured TIME DURATION OF RECONSTRUCTED NAIL:- This will depend on the quality of the original nail, type of shoes i.e. open toe or closed in, also how active the person is. On average the reconstructed nail will last around 6-8 weeks. The nail will have to be cut on a regular basis, as the resin is flexible and underlying nail will continue grow as normal. PLEASE NOTE. A consultation will be needed before booking the proceedure. This will be a 15 minute appointment at a cost of £20. In this nail will be assessed for suitability and the procedure will be discussed in depth. This cost will be deducted on your booked appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Full treatment price will be charged on appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge with 24 hours notice.
